The Olympics Have Arrived

Well in the beginning I was very negative about the Olympics. I'm not anymore. Ever since I witnessed the opening ceremony I have found my Canadian pride growing with each passing day. I have seen how the games have brought together people from every culture, country and background. To see people dressed up in their motherlands colours and party side by side is a site to behold. O' Canada!!! If you haven't gone downtown to check it out yet drop everything and go now! You won't be disappointed. I had the great fortune to attend a curling game in Vancouver and the air was electric with excitement! Here are some pics of that event. I was in Seattle a while ago and snapped a few pics while there. The people were friendly the clam chowder at McCormicks was out of this world and of course the scenery wonderful. I loved the Pyke Fish Market. A mixture of all walks of life and tastes. A perfect example of the eclectic West Coast!
